About Our SUP Lessons
Due to the unique nature of Stand Up Paddle Boarding and the amount of distance that can recovered on a SUP surfboard all of our SUP Lessons are conducted on a private group basis.
Our Two Hour SUP Lesson covers all the basics and is the perfect introduction to the sport. You will learn about the safety considerations, how to self rescue, the equipment and the correct posture. During your lesson you will learn how to control your board, basic paddling techniques while prone, kneeling and, finally, standing up.
Towards the end of the lesson you will be given information about pivot turns and how to refine your technique.
This first lesson is full of helpful tips and information and by the end of it you will feel confident enough to practise what you have learnt.
For any of our SUP lessons all the kit is included and you get a further 90 minutes afterwards to practise and really get to grips with Stand Up Paddle boarding.
