Surf Hire

If you have had a few surfing lessons and are feeling confident then why not hire a surfboard and wetsuit and practise what you have learnt?

We hire top quality surfboards and wetuits to save you the expense of having to buy your own. All of our wetsuits are made by Gul and are warm and flexible enough to meet the most exacting of surfers needs while our fleet of surfboards is second to none. Choose from Swellboards, ideal for beginners, or state of the art epoxy mals and mini-mals for more advanced surfers - we have a surfboard to suit everyone regardless of the surfing conditions.

Gwithian Academy of Surfing is part of the R.N.L.I Surf Hire Safety Scheme and we promise to:

• Hire boards that are suitable to your ability
• Provide safety information to all our customers
• Maintain the equipment and regularly check for damage
• Maintain a comprehensive insurance policy

NB. 1. Every hire will need a surf safety disclaimer form to be filled out by someone over 18 years. 2. We will require a piece of ID such as driving licence, passport or debit/credit card to be left as a security deposit. 3. Discounts are available for students/armed forces and groups
